Don't miss this gem! A happy, friendly phone booking, a historic home facing the river with a pool and all comforts of home. They shiw that they care in all they do for their guests so you very welcome. Rooms are clean, value is fair and it's a must see for anyone. Wonderful staff!

We had visited the Auberge Montebello for one night in 2023 and were satisfied. This year, we used it as a base for a cycling trip. Stayed on a Monday night, and came back for a Friday night stay. The pool was great, and fully appreciated by our crew. The hotel was busy at breakfast-time but the staff handled the flow very well. Rooms were a good size. We were able to leave a car parked on site for the three nights between our stays. We enjoyed a pizza delivery picnic by the pool on our last evening. Good value for money! Some of the faucets in our room were wonky, but only a minor inconvenience. we will be back!!

EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY... This family-run, traditional Victorian mansion inn is perfectly situated right on the Ottawa River with river views from the rooms. It is just a few minutes walk from several gourmet restaurants in the Montebello village. The couple who run the inn are extremely friendly and resourceful. They provide a light breakfast, with the option of home-made waffles.
