HOLIDAY INN MONTREAL AEROPORT-

Hotel not clean! (we even found soiled underwear in our bed the first night!) the pool was green with a bandage, a clump of hair and many other objects floating in it, the room floor was disgusting I even had to wash it myself since it was dirtying our feet and turning black when coming out of the shower!

I stayed for five nights and overall had an okay experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated having both a coffee maker and a fridge in the room. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could really improve. The hallways could use more frequent vacuuming. During my entire five-day stay, I never saw the corridors vacuumed, and the carpets definitely needed attention. There were also two hallway doors on the left side immediately after entering the hotel, leading toward rooms 1002–1008. They were very difficult to open and didn’t close properly. Replacing or repairing them would improve both convenience and safety. My room was generally clean, but the duvet had two noticeable stains, and some of the corners could have used a more thorough cleaning. I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh of its housekeeping standards. Many of the chairs throughout the hotel, including those in the hallways and even the chair at the front desk, are quite worn and should be replaced. Fresh furniture would make the property feel much more inviting. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It’s one of the hotel’s main selling features in the photos, yet it was frequently unavailable. While I understand the lifeguard policy, it was confusing that the pool was open on Thursday evening without a lifeguard present. During the times I was waiting for my Uber, I overheard several guests checking in who were disappointed to learn the pool was closed. The splash pad was also out of service during my stay. I think the hotel would greatly benefit from investing in lifeguard coverage during the busy summer season, especially in July, when many families choose the hotel because of its pool. Ensuring the splash pad is operational would also make a big difference. Overall, the staff were kind and my stay was comfortable, but with improved cleaning, some maintenance updates, replacing the worn furniture, and making the pool more consistently available, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.

Mediocre mediocre ...... Very disappointed with this hotel. Several facilities were broken or unusable: sauna, gym, pool table, air hockey table, etc. It was also impossible to connect Netflix or other applications on the television, with only a few English channels available. Even breakfast is not included, which is hard to understand considering the very poor quality of the place. Yes, the entrance has been renovated, but it does absolutely nothing to change the overall experience. Is it worth the price? Clearly not. I do not recommend this hotel I have 1 night left here and I have never been so eager to leave my vacation....
