Hotel Villa

I wanted to go to Central Asia and suddenly I caught the eye of this super anti-Semitic sign in the hotel ville in the city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan , comparing Jews to dogs, today Jews tomorrow other tourists by nationality

One star because zero was not possible! We are 80 and 68 years old respectively and for 45 years we have been traveling the countries, and have never been accommodated in such a pathetic hotel. Besides, this hotel title does not correspond to it, it is a rental of rooms without service. No cleaning of the rooms during the stay, making the bed was our responsibility, no changing of sheets and towels for a week. We had to have a toilet and shower on the floor… under renovation; we had to go up to the upper level without an elevator and often wait for the room to become available. Tiny room 2 m 20 x 4 m maximum: a 140 x 200 bed, a sink, no table, no chair, no hooks to hang clothes, no wardrobe except the one under the sink often squatted by a rat or a mouse that nibbled on the few packages we left. No bar to dry our towels. The air conditioning was just a fan that circulated the hot ambient air. Our room at the end of the corridor opened with a code to be dialed on a keypad, but in ten days no one came to change the little neon lights which no longer worked. Ideal in the near night. Three times we wrote to the manager without obtaining a response and our complaints to the entrance guards were never listened to (apart from the installation of a mouse trap). The photos on their site are very attractive but do not reflect the reality to be experienced in this establishment! Avoid or even cancel your next reservations!

The hotel has since been renamed "Sand et stone", which gave us a strange impression because the sign is still "Villa hotel". Good bathroom refurbishment and pleasant staff. Well located. On the other hand, below our expectations. Beautiful building which has typical architectural character from the 1920s.
