We stayed here for four nights while visiting Quebec City as a family, and I regret not leaving after the first night. What a disappointment. PROS: Bouncy houses (my kids loved these but the velcros are loose and scrape legs); nice staff; loads of activities planned each day. The balloon animals by Marcus were a hit. My kids had fun over all. CONS: 1) Facilities: This is not a 4-star hotel. Maybe it was in the early 2000s, but it's clear that upkeep is not their forte. Everything was run down (including the rusted hotel sign outside that looks like it's from the 1980s and was our first indication that this was not going to be the prime experience we expected), furniture banged up, carpets worn, floors peeling in the rooms and stairwells, and (bizarrely) holes punched in the folding tables in the conference rooms where craft and other events are held. 2) Small, Crowded Pool: The pool is shockingly small for the size of the hotel. Consequently, it is very crowded so that you're constantly bumping into people or being bumped into. The third night we were there the pool was closed because someone threw up. While this isn't the hotel's fault, the fact that almost nothing else in the hotel functioned properly meant that there really wasn't anything else for us to do. We didn't try the hot tub because it was overcrowded, much like the actual pool. 3) Arcade and Play Structure: As far as we can tell, none of the games in the arcade work beyond stealing your tokens. The play structure could be fun, but clearly needs repair since my daughter managed to get her arm caught in the slide and had to be rescued by my husband. 4) Food: So overpriced and blah. C$90 for breakfast for a family of four? I was appalled. We ended up buying food at a grocery store for breakfasts and ordering delivery for dinner. Cheaper and much better quality. 5) Housekeeping: They claim they don't do true in-room cleaning during your stay for the "environment." Making a bed (just making it; not even changing the sheets) does not negatively impact the environment. All they did the entire time was provide new towels. Even on the third day, when they were supposed to do a full housekeeping, they seemed to do nothing except place new towels and cups. Maybe sweep. It's clear the hotel just doesn't want to pay for adequate housekeeping staff. (As also made obvious by the fact that check-in is 4:30 and our room still wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:45.) We were really excited to stay here, but we'd never go back. Spare yourselves the experience and spend $230+/night on a hotel with a pool that's closer to Old Quebec. The Hilton or Marriott maybe.

Great experience with children! We stayed there for 2 nights with our granddaughter who loved everything. We reported a breakage in our room and it was repaired immediately. The staff is smiling and welcoming. It is not a luxury hotel but it is clean. If you want to rest as a couple without children, this is definitely not a good choice. It is a hotel for families with children.

Honestly, very mediocre. The beds and cleaning are not done every day. The jacuzzi is extremely hot. Very low-end dining.
