This is one of the nicest small-town motels we've ever stayed in. The room was spacious - more like a suite with a couch and coffee table and a table and chairs. The bathroom had a small sink inside as well as a large sink and counter area outside - very convenient when there are a number of people using the space. We could unload our luggage through the exterior door but access the motel amenities through an interior door. The breakfast was much more than a continental breakfast at a chain hotel. There were make-your-own waffles, freshly boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit in addition to other continental items. They use real dishes and cutlery which is so nice and much less wasteful. People sit around "kitchen" tables and chairs which promote a homey feeling. Although we were in the minority of English-speaking people, we felt at home and cared for by staff who honestly tried to converse with us. The location is about 10 minutes from the gate to La Mauricie National Park so is an excellent choice for guests going to the park.

I’ve been here for 4 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. The room is large with king bed and laminate flooring. Super clean and very quiet. Never heard any noise from neighboring rooms, good wifi, excellent water pressure in the shower. Exterior could benefit from some updating but doesn’t detract from rating. Continental breakfast is basic and unimaginative but works. Staff is efficient and courteous. Definitely worth the rate and I’ll use again when back in the area.

Got to tell you the place was sort of clean. Some people live there like an appartment. Cheap stay, cheap place, cheap bed, cheap, cheap, cheap. Dont go there with your familly. As a matter of fact..dont go there. When i saw the furniture coming out of the 70's, thought it was a joke. Grey and pink plastic furniture. all worned out. I will not go there ever, i will sleep in my car.
