An old converted motel. A very clean room with 2 very comfortable beds. The beds are firm and the bedding is good quality. Unfortunately no dressing gown available in the room: should have been asked? I recommend the place. One downside: after 5 hours drive, it is impossible to get a beer served before 5:00 pm. Full buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Easy parking.

We enjoyed the VIP Romantic Package on Saturday and Sunday.......we loved.........dinner was delicious......not to mention the lunch that was perfect........ Only small catch to see again, the service at the restaurant le Canon was very slow (dinner and lunch)......possibly understaffed.......But we loved our stay at the Escale Thank you!

It was my favorite place in Val-d'Or but has become much too expensive because of the company mining employees who live there, it is no longer affordable. Ordinary room and ordinary breakfast, Not worth the asking price.
