Home Inn & Suites Swift Current

This stay was “just ok”. We stayed with two kids aged 11 & 12 en route from Calgary to Winnipeg. 2 Queen room with couch and small kitchenette. Hotel was blasting A/C and the blankets were very thin and sparse. We arrived late. The curtains were too small allowing a lot of morning light in the room. Basic furnishings and no lamp in living room. Room stocked with only two bath towels and no extra blankets. No one at front desk to retrieve more blankets after our late arrival. Pool looked reasonably fine and breakfast was adequate for the kids. Coffee was terrible. Moderately stocked canteen at front desk for snacks and toiletries. The room was clean but could definitely use some sprucing up - coat of paint, artwork, lamps etc.

Stayed for one night in a Two Queen Suite. Room was very clean and smelled good upon entry. Lots of space in the room and it came with a Kitchenette with a full sized fridge. Beds were good and it was a quiet sleep. Gym was ok with a few treadmills, some basic dumbbells and the temperature was good. Basic continental breakfast. Staff were friendly. Overall would recommend this hotel if staying in Swift Current.

I'm a celiac so travelling can be a challenge when it comes to continental style hotel breakfasts. The kitchen staff was well informed about my food allergy and was very professional when it came to preparing something for me. They also had access to a binder with the ingredient lists for all their products so she was able to check on specific items. Well done!
