HL DEPARTAMENTOS

This apartment was the first base of our South America trip. If only all other lodging would've been so good... The place was great value, spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. It's on the 23rd floor, so the view is terrific. It's within 5-10' walking distance from La Moneda metro stop, in a rather quiet neighborhood. There are street noises when the window's open, but nothing a pair of ear plugs can't solve. There's a small pool on the roof. Just one thing: Check-in was at 3 p.m. We arrived around noon, tired from a long flight, but they didn't let us enter the apartment earlier. Too bad, we could've used a refreshing shower... The receptionist did, however, let us make use of a bath room the cleaning staff uses.

I only booked one night here, but it was a wonderful stay! The apartment is quite large and has a great view of Santiago and the surrounding mountains. It was really comfortable and equipped with kitchen, TV, Internet. Also, the neighbourhood is very calm and close to some of Santiago's main sights. There's a pool at the 24th floor but I didn't have time to go.
