We were lucky to have stayed here whilst on a recent visit to Santiago. The hotel is in a student area and each evening you will see students displaying their merchandise to sell out on the streets. Reception staff at the hotel are super friendly and always very happy to help with any issues. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious with a large variety of food to choose from. There is a lovely roof top pool which is a great place to relax after a busy day of sight seeing. There are lots of fab restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We had a great stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back if we were lucky enough to return to Santiago again.

Staff at the Lastarria are wonderful. Their English is awesome and their local knowledge priceless. Everyone so helpful and did their best to make the stay enjoyable. The room was lovely. Clean. Quiet. Great pillows. Loved the relationship with the cafe (next door and in front of the hotel). Again, lovely staff and great food. Had the breakfast for brunch as well as breakfast! Perfect! They even made a breakfast-to-go on our early departure. Had a lovely stay. If you get a chance we'd thoroughly recommend the 'free city walk'. Our guide had amazing English and was clearly passionate about her city. Thank you everyone.

Close to several restaurants, but a lot of noise and many sellers at the hotel door. The photo from the entrance does not match the real one. I arrived at the address and it was a closed door, after contacting the reception I found that it was in a street next door, very confused, but an employee came to meet me. In the unit we stayed there was no reception, we went in and out with card. The hotel door is full of walkers and maconers, we had to ask permission to enter because they were literally sitting at the front door, we felt very vulnerable. The apartment is well equipped, everything clean, new dishes. But the couch had a bad smell. The mattress of the double bed is old, it's deep and whenever we move the springs burst.
