It is a hotel with an excellent location in the historic center of Santiago, Chile. From there, you can walk out to explore and discover. Friendly staff, equipped, spacious, and clean rooms. I highlight the varied and abundant buffet breakfast.

My friend and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is perfectly okay, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and well situated. But…the staff were fantastic. I became very ill - they organised a taxi to A & E. Housekeeping were fantastic, changing my bed, giving me extra towels, double-lining a bin so I could be sick in it. Two days later reception called for emergency medics who turned up looking like pilots from Top Gun. Being ill so far from home was a horrible experience, but the attitude and helpfulness of the staff at the Panamericano was exemplary.

We stayed there one night with my two young daughters, I chose it for the value and its closeness to the Movistar Arena since we were going to a concert. Pros: Friendly reception staff. - Rich dinner in his restaurant with great attention from Patricio (we ordered pasta and cesar salad, hearty dishes). They leave you complimentary still mineral water and mini chocolates "Trencito". Very comfortable beds - we were in a triple -. Cons: There is no one at the dining room door, so they can ask you 3 times for your room number. Basic breakfast. I was surprised not to have orange juice, just a juice machine with too much water. The coffee was powder. - The breakfast buffet had no signs which confused people, we didn't know what the normal milk was (I only found out proving that the one I had was vegan). -All the time we spent at breakfast the small spoons ran out instantly. (we asked directly to a girl who waited there) When we arrived at the breakfast room and settled at a table, a girl came to tell us that we could not be there, that this was a sector for other people, that we could only in a limited space with a certain food, which surprised me, I felt discriminated against. I saw the same thing on the faces of other guests when they were told the same thing. Finally, before we left I asked a girl in charge and she explained that they had an agreement with a company and that sector was exclusive to them. I believe that if one knew the delimited sectors from the beginning, one could overcome that frequent impasse. -The rubber on the shower door was peeled off and when opened the floor was wet. - Dryer ran for one minute and shut off, little power (very old) - Parking is located in back street, when you arrive at night with young children may be impractical.
