Acommodation quite ok. WiFi rather slow as usual in China. Everything clean. Everyday fresh towels etc. Probably one of the best hotels in town. Chinese breakfast with some Western elements. Other facilities not used by me.

Stayed at this Hotel for 1 night on business with 3 colleagues. Hotel is rated as a 5 star hotel, it's no better than 3 star hotels i've stayed at in China, but still charges ridiculous 5 star prices, I think $50USD would be fair for this property, we paid closer to $120USD. Rooms (excutive suites) were located a looong way from reception. During our walk to the rooms we had to walk down 2 corridors that had intermittent blankets on the floor to protect the carpets from what i assume was a painting touch up, no-one working, just an overpowering smell of paint. My colleague tripped over on one of these sheets, not good! The blankets (despite no workers) were there for 2 days (Fri-Sat), anhd on the Saturday there were at least 2 wedding partys traversing these corridors, what a poor look! Anyway, room had cherry pips on the floor, breakfast was awful, limited english speaking staff. Not sure how many 5 star hotels Bengbo has, but don't stay at this one.

I'm in Bengbu for 2 months in 2011, for work. The Hotel is near the industrial zone, and 10 minutes to the center city. In the center have Carrefour, MCDonalld's and other similar occidental restourant. In the hotel have occidental cousine, but hamburgher is little and stick don't is occidental... but... is ok for china. Have a lot of meat in the menu, but in realty have only 5-6 simple plate... sigh! Hotel is clean and service is good... for China is very good. No violence in the street and the taxi is cheap.
