The whole place is old, but the rooms are new and magnificent and spacious, so I was very satisfied. Huangshan is not famous to the Japanese, but I personally think it is the top tourist destination in China. The local guides were helpful because they accepted Trippest even if they were in English or had a good guide like Jack. I think this hotel is convenient as it is a meeting point for local tours. I think Chinese people are very pro-Japanese every time, but if you are a Japanese and you are traveling alone, I think it is essential to register Alipay and Didi in Japan.

The hotel is morally obsolete, five stars short. Wallpaper goes everywhere, mold. For breakfast, low quality food and few choices. Doors broken in the rooms have no locking device, plants from the street have sprouted in the windows and they don't close.

The hotel sort of sits on it's own but it's only a short walk to the Old City of Huangshan. There is a lovely garden in the foyer and plenty of sitting room to just sit and chat or catch up on things. The rooms are good and their breakfast has something for anyone from any country.
