Beijing Airport Jinglin Hotel

I spent one night at this hotel and was very impressed. The room was lovely, large and had lots of amenities. The bed was comfortable and i got a great night's sleep. There was tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water, as well as slippers and loads of toiletries. The buffet breakfast was excellent, loads of delicious choices and all fresh and healthy. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff on reception and at the breakfast buffet were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is used by a lot of airline crew. There is a lovely lounge area with some beautiful sculptures\artwork items and features. The hotel is located about a five minutes drive from the airport, and there is a shuttle bus service. Accross the street is a small group of shops, and there is a large public park across the main highway a bit further down the road. (Turning right out of the hotel). Turning left it is a mainly residential area with some shops about a 10 minutes walk up the road. I would recommend this hotel and would like to stay here again sometime.

Staying now in this hotel for transit, as tomorrow early morning have flight to dubai, it's very comfortable, they have very good Muslim restuarant, also the area around have lot's of other restaurants, shopping centre, as well as convenient stores, one can feel easy to kick time. They also have spa. Very clean. But a/c has not yet opened. Good for overnight stay who wanted to catch early morning flight

If you can't speak Chinese don't bother. Those of you who can, the staff is relaxed and friendly, the accommodations are expansive though the hallways feel a bit like a cold war bunker. Room furnishing is decent and clean. Hotel room walls are very thin. Breakfast was decent. Pick-up from the airport requires calling the driver directly via mobile and he shows up in an unmarked van. If you're looking for a cheap place near the airport to pass the night between flights and can speak Chinese, this hotel will do. Not recommended under any other travel circumstances!
