Dongsi Hotel

Hotel located in a quiet area. We chose it because about 150 meters from the metro. Small rooms but nothing is missing, bed a bit hard. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make themselves understood (they do not speak English). Within walking distance c is a great restaurant.

The hotel is in the centre of Beijing. Great location. Near the subway. Wangfongjing Shopping Street, it has a great restaurant for Beijing duck (I advise you to visit ). 8 minutes by subway to Tiananmen Square. Nearby bakeries, shops, cafes. The hotel itself is quiet, at night calm. Hot water all the time. Cleaned every day. The shower room. Clean bed, very comfortable pillows. The room has a kettle. Sockets for both the euro and the Russian adapter. Great staff, no Russian spoken, but everyone with the translator on the phone, communicated without problems. Everyone is friendly, friendly. Industrial stores all over the neighborhood, every step of the way. It's a nice hotel for that price. We had a room with a small window. Well, there are rooms with full windows, which I like better, but since we've been away all day, it didn't bother us much. Lived there for 4 days. Thank the staff. Thank you!

Pro: The hotel was clean. Cons: The receptionist was not professional. He asked so many questions and showed his anger to us (perhaps due to his inability to communicate English). Really not welcoming to the foreigners. We have to wait for about 40 minutes (with small kids crying) before we could enter the room.
