Jinjiang Inn Beijing Houhai

The staff upon check-in were very slow and seemed to drag their feet. They then told me my membership card had no use since I reserved the room online and I couldn't check out late. I complained to their regional office, so they then let me check out late. The card was deactivated the next day so I had to go downstairs to reactivate. They were also very slow to issue our meal tickets as we had to wait in a long line in order to get them, when they should improve this process. The staff were not the least bit friendly, and when I called to ask them a question, they promptly answered and just hung up the phone without another word or question. The service here needs to improve. The wifi is incredibly slow, and makes using the internet almost unbearable.

Checked in to this place for a 2 day visit in Beijing. The staff members were very pleasant. At least they tried. The location is very handy, short walk to HouHai. On the other hand, the room was absolutely a joke. The furniture was out dated and quite dirty. The side marble panel of the hand basin fell off the rack completely. You get what you pay for.

...place to lay your head in Beijing Houhai Area. The value and location worked for me. The people there were very friendly, even if the number of people there spoke very little English, I managed just fine. The hotel is fairly close to the subway system and there are a number of places to eat, too. The ATM is about a 5 minute walk in the same direction as the subway, so no problem. The room was small, but sufficient and the bed was COMFORTABLE!
