King Parkview

The hotel is well liked, located in the city centre, you can walk (~15 minutes) to 2 metro stations. It is also convenient to walk to two parks, the forbidden city, the shopping streets of Wangfujing and Nanluoguxiang. There are grocery stores and cafes nearby. The room had everything you need (hairdryer, fridge, kettle, Wi-Fi), cleaned every day, changed towels and brought bottles of water. There was no noise/smell. From the cons the condition of wallpaper and furniture in some places, a little leaky shower cabin. She stayed in a standard double room in October 2025.

Massively reduced compared to 2018. Small rooms, in need of reconstruction No breakfast buffet. Breakfast bag..... No gastronomy

Standard room are exstreamly poorly equipped just a fridge, desk closet and only one plug for charging and it’s not next to bed . Only one light source in ceiling and it’s extremely bright and no way to dim it no other lamp at all. Bed is hard as a rock never in my 72 years have I slept in a bed that hard, it feels like you slep on the bare floor. Absolute no decoration nothing but white walls. Staff speak and understand next to no English at all. No smiles from them ever No hello or welcome they just say “Passport” they seem rude and like they act like they don’t care at all . Totally missing out on the basics of hospitality and courtesy. One receptionist was kind though, and she tried to help me, but her lack of English skills made a simple thing into an hour long struggle to help me. Omg No kitchen or restaurant, but some guests get a small breakfast bag with rools and an egg but not included in my room. Location good though. Close to forbidden city.
