Sofu Hotel

Pros · The rooms were gigantic with everything you need. The bathroom was so big that you could literally have 10 people sleep in it comfortably. There was a bath tub and a shower. The area was very quiet. Cons · It took a long time to have the WiFi work. The English of the staff is limited, but enough to get around. If you have a dietary problem this area is nothing for you because most of the shops and restaurants around are Chinese-only. If you are looking for non-Chinese food or you have allergies, you are in trouble, as almost on-one speaks English in this neighbourhood.

Very happy I stayed here. Good location, with lots of fresh fruit vendors, coffee shops and places to eat within easy walking distance. The reception speaks limited English but are helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Quiet location in the Hutong area. Two metro stops are within walking distance. Recommended.

We stayed at the the Sofu for 2 nights 27-29th Dec 2019. We really enjoyed the hotel and were upgraded on arrival which was ace! Location is very good. Sadly on check-out we realised £45 of our English money had been taken from a suit case whilst left in the room. We reported it to the manager who offered to call the police, but as we had a flight to catch we could not spend anymore time at the hotel. Disappointing.
