Beijing Century Towers

First of all, this apartment is more like poorly run family business. The time you walk-in to the reception, there is no welcome feeling. The receptionists are like robots, just doing their job without emotions and only one of them understands English. My room was at 5a west tower. To get to the room, I had to go through double doors, imagine going through fire exit door to get to the room. The room was spacious but was not cleaned properly. The kitchen utensils were sticky from oil. No plates, only saucers without cups and three smallest bowls I have ever seen. No tumbler. I had to call the reception the get cups/tumbler for water and the cleaner deliver 3 of them WET with her WET fingers inside the tumblers. Yeah the tumblers are old because they are yellowish. No dishwasher or dishwashing liquid or sponge, no bottled water (China tap is not potable), no detergent. Nothing. Come to day to day cleaning, they only tidy up the beds and bathroom. They didn’t clean up the kitchen, not even wiping the bench top, not even tidy up the breakfast table. Forget about washing your used tumblers, it stayed in the sink untouched. It is supposed to be a service apartment but I had to clean after long day at work. It is absolutely nightmare. Avoid this apartment at all costs, it is third world standard at its best.

With the new expansion, the Hotel is improving Choice for Clients. I visited in 2015 2016 and 2014. Nice place and good service. Some apartments maintenance is not so impressive so careful with the doors and the Cooling/heating when checking in. Friendly Staff, Nice Gym.

Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel with my two daughters. It was a spacious 3 bedroom appartement with 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. Including washing machine. It seemed to me it was recently renovated. Unfortunately during my stay I broke my ankle in Beijing. The staff was very helpful to us.
