Beijing Plaza Hotel

I booked this hotel on Orbits in 2018. I got to China for the Great Wall run and got to the hotel on 4/19/19 at 3:45pm. It was gated and has chain on it, and a Chinese sign. The cab driver wanted me to pay him and leave. Cost me 300yuen to get there. And I had to call orbits to get another hotel. Had to call roaming from over seas. Such a bad experience.

A disappointing hotel on our final stop on a Trans Mongolian trip. Staff spoke little English and were rude. Rooms were tired and the beds hard. The breakfast was poor. Really not much to commend the hotel.

We were on a holiday trip to Beijing from 11.6.18 to 13.6.18 and we were allotted 3 rooms on the 6th floor. A average hotel. Not recommended. Only Chinese speaking staff. Nobody understands English. Found extremely difficult to communicate. In China we experienced that bottled mineral water is placed in the bathroom, which was quite hard to accept. We used to purchase bottle waters from nearby Superstores.
