Beijing Yingcheng Business Hotel

My wife and I were stuck there for three days because of our lack of language and we're staying with other guests of the hotel. Our experience was not pleasant, we changed rooms every day so after three rooms with what seems to be a norm in China the a/c did not work and the rooms were at 80 degrees F, the towels were torn, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, even the ones we got that were supposed to be non-smoking. Two of the three rooms we stayed had bathroom leaks so all of our stuf got wet when taking a shower. I can only imagine how hot the rooms are during the summer.

There was urine on the seat of the toilet when I checked in. There was hair in the shower. The carpet has a collection of stains and cigarette burns that would put a brothel to shame (strictly a guess). In China this is by far the worst hotel I have ever pad over $50 to stay in. The decor reminds me of my childhood (I'm in my early 40's). The location is pretty good, I had an event to go to at Galaxy Soho, and its within walking distance. There are plenty of restraints nearby. Unless your are really pressed, avoid this place like the plague. Its a "business" hotel with no WIFI other than in the downstairs lobby.
