Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel Beijing

pros: - close to the airport (15RMB in a taxi) - shuttle bus to the airport - room is ok: warm, good bed, kettle, nice shower - quick wifi cons: - breakfast is a joke: it's basically in outside 'restaurant', standard not acceptable for Europeans In general it's a 3* hotel (room) Room is warm & nice, shower too. However, we stayed in much better 4* places in China hence this is way below expectations.

Not acceptable for foreigners. Near Beijing Aiport you can choose many other reasonable hotels. This is dirty, no english speaker staff, heating don't work, rooms are very ugly.. Just terrible. check photos

Having the Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel rated a 3 star and allowing the current photos to remain is an injustice to your ( Expedia) customers. My wife, my son and I checked into the hotel thru what I would consider an alley, we checked out 15 minutes after that and went to another hotel (that I did not book on Expedia). The room at the Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel was in disrepair, dirty linens on the bed, the extra bed was a piece of plywood on a bed frame, un-swept floors and possibly mold on the ceiling and bathroom. If you would like updated Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel photos , with time date stamp, I have them available. Exposed wiring , cleanliness and other issues are just a couple of additional items to note. I can assure you that the ownership, advertisers and employees of Expedia wouldn't let their children stay at this hotel. My family and I had just spent 3-4 hrs traveling by train and over an hour cab ride to the Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel. Because of the issues at the terrible hotel I booked on Epedia, the lateness / time of day, there were very limited choices for us regarding other hotels. After a 30 min argument with the hotel for a refund and another 30 mins to get another cab, I paid $563.67 to stay at the Hilton Beijing Capital Airport , that was approx 2-3 miles from the Konggang Xinyue Business Hotel. I have been an Expedia Member / AARP Member for a number of years. I was very disappointed in the misleading photos posted on Expedia's website. They may have been submitted by the hotel but they are advertised / posted on Expedia and I can assure you, I will keep that in mind for future bookings.
