Raffles

First of all, I need to state that the hotel has very different room categories and vibes. My five stars are awarded to the newer wing (if I remember when they call it “elite”). These rooms are nice, whilst the “heritage rooms” would not be my cup of tea. The staff was kind and helpful, especially concierge and the Russian lady at Reception. Breakfast was nice, I especially enjoyed the pretzels. The Beijing-duck included in our booking was specifically tasty as well. And the location obviously is very central. So I can recommend it overall.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the staff. A special thank you to Li Maowang, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. His warm hospitality and dedication to guest satisfaction made a lasting impression on us. The entire team provided excellent customer service throughout our stay, making us feel valued and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

Hotel very well located for visiting Beijing. Just a 2-minute walk from a subway station. Ideally located for visiting Tiananmen Square. Large shopping street just a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The hotel has a very large pool and a nice, well-equipped gym. The rooms are spacious and clean, although a bit vintage in style. However, the hallways leading to the rooms are not clean and would benefit from serious renovation. The only downside is that construction starts at 9 AM with very loud scaffolding noises. The staff is very attentive.
