The room was clean and next to the West Station. Useful if you have an early train the day after or you arrive very late in the night. If you are in Beijing to discover the city, choose another area. Unfortunately there was smell of cigarette in the room coming from the ventilation system of the bathroom. The room didn't correspond to the one we saw on the website where we booked. There wasn't a window, only a very small one on the roof, impossible to reach. Staff was lovely but didn't speak English. With the help of translation apps we understood each other :)

Having read here on TripAdvisor that some of the staff do not speak English, when checking in we just gave passport / Visa and booking reservation, and the rest was easy and quick. The room was spacious, nice and clean. I had problems with the AC, so it was a bit warmer then I liked for the night.There are some shops and restaurants close by. Coffee / tea machine in the lobby was nice. Breakfast was not included, so I can not say anything about that. If you are going to Beijing Railway Station West, it is only 5 minutes walk. Perfect for us, going with the bullet train next day. Will I stay there again? If I plan to go with train and need a hotel, absolutely!

This is a nice hotel and very convenient to the train station. The restaurant in the hotel is perfectly fine and there are other restaurants close by. As one who is taller than most, I was unable to walk upright along the upper half of the hallway to my room. From the lift to the stairs, the ceiling is approximately 7-feet high, but once up the half flight of stairs, the ceiling drops to 6-feet. Watch your head!
