Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven

Located outside of the tourist zones, this place caters to large tour groups and the traveler who need be in b the north party of v the city. There is a subway stop, but it's a walk. Give yourself an additional 30-45 minutes to get anywhere, because Beijing traffic is crazy. Breakfast buffet is great, lots of options. Staff are helpful.

Not that I'm disappointed. But on the whole, in all parameters except location impressions are rather negative. The hotel is in dire need of renovation. Finally finished some renovation work with a dug trench right in front of the hotel's central entrance.

Stayed in this hotel in January 2026 for 4 nights, the choice of the hotel was based on the reviews, generally satisfied, but there were nuances. So, getting from Daxing Airport via Metro Line 4, walking 20 min from Taoranling station, as it was written on the hotel website, it turned out that from Tainqiao Line 8 station to walk only 8 min, I don't know why it's not marked (saw on the map that this station is closer, but thought maybe this pattern is crooked or uncomfortable to go there). Return, of course, was via line 8, the journey to Daxing airport took exactly an hour (line 8, then 10, then express to Daxing). As for breakfast (it is included by default), many wrote that it leaves much to be desired, but it is all about having to come before 8am (it is possible from 6-30 to 10), otherwise the choice will be very limited. I arrived at 9:00 the first breakfast and was disappointed too, the next day I drove to the Wall and came from the very opening of the restaurant and was satisfied. Then I ate around 8:00 a.m. and had a full choice, too. Went to complain about the front desk, I was immediately offered another room, on the 3rd floor, the previous one was on the 5th. That's how the air conditioner worked and kept at 23 degrees, but it was just stoned. True, the bonus was the bath, everything was fresh in the previous one, but only the shower. The beds in both rooms were good, four pillows: 2 hard and soft, cleaned every day, put 2 waters and changed towels, Noticed that I bought one and a half waters (there are shops nearby across the street to the right of Beijing Bank) and started to put 3 waters on me. I brushed my teeth bottled, away from sin. Conclusion: nice hotel near the center for adequate money.
