The Apartments on Financial Street

- staff speak very poor English; - wrong info on the website regarding hotel facilities - money has been stolen from my room in less then 2 hrs from check-in - in room safe box not bolted to any think, that's mean anybody can take it and just leave the room - no swimming pool or gym/spa as it was advertised on the hotel itself and booking.com web sites - during booking process and on the confirmation documents it says ''Breakfast included'' however staff informed us only 1 breakfast is included in price - breakfast itself has been served in another building, separate cafeteria, and was offering Chinese style breakfast only, also waiting staff been more attracted by their mobile phones then customers; after one visit we never go back there as it was wasting time - far away from underground/subway station - room service was terrible (just making beds)

This is my second stay within the past 12 months. Room is quite sizable compare with other 5-star hotels in the area and price is much lower. But, bear in mind, it is not a luxurious one. During my stay, bath tub leaked water and hairdryer in the room was not working. Staffs, however, are friendly and tried their best to be helpful. If you want a bigger-size room, cheaper price, then this is the hotel for you -- especially if you were on a budget and needs to stay for more than 1 or two nights.

This is not your Ascott or Shangri-la service apartment. At US$130 for a 1-bed room apartment, it is quite good: clean, big, walking distance to Financial Street for business and walking distance to Xidan for shopping. Perfect for people who are spending more than just 2-3days and is even better for people whose family is traveling together so that spouse/kid can do some sight seeing.
