JW Marriott Chongqing

Very good hotel whose best feature is in-unit (smallish) washer and dryer. Room is otherwise nothing particularly special, and breakfast is good (but not great). Excellent temperature control in the room.

The property is quite new. Stayed in their 3br apartment with a kid and elders to spend Christmas. Simply superb! They had everything you could possibly need. Their kitchen is equipped with basic itemsand we were able to cook simple meals. Ensuite washer & dryer were very useful (though lacked an english instruction manual that I had to google the manual to operate). Provided hair dryers in each room. Came from Ascott Chengdu and the difference was VAST. LOCATION! Perfect location right smack in the middle of malls, convenient stores and the shopping district of jiefangbei. Most of everything is walking distance. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly. They had me add their wechat upon check-in so we could contact them at any time. They provided us most of what we asked for immediately. Nespresso machine in the room with decaf pods...my father can only drink decaf and it's quite rare for hotels to provide them. Also provided us with literally a whole case of bottled water daily. Only some things lacking: - My favorite thing to do in China is to order deliveries because of the ultimate convenience. I go to diff China cities several times a year and almost all hotels have the auto robot delivering your orders to your doorstep. It would be great if they add one so we won't have to go all the way down to get our orders. - No luggage weighing scale. They told us to use the weighing scale in the room which couldn't handle the large size of the luggage. - As usual in China hotels during winter (Dec), the temperature of the ACs are centrally controlled and the staff couldn't adjust it for us. It was quite stuffy and hot in the room because the temp was automatically at 24 deg C. But they provided us with fans which definitely helped Hopefully these could be addressed because we would love to go back. Made our family trip very memorable and happy. Would definitely recommend

Unexpectedly awesome stay at Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing! Clean, contemporary, homely vibe. Friendly staff, lovely rooms & washrooms. Top-quality breakfast in a premium, quiet setup. Strongly recommend to all!
