Intercontinental

As an mentioned before in one of my reviews, I am finally back in China on Business and travelling around China again after 3 years of being away.. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza about 4 years ago, but then it was an InterContinental Hotel, but now it is a Crowne Plaza. Other than changing the logo’s and few items around the Hotel, it still feels like home. The location of the hotel is perfect, downtown with easy access in and out of the Hotel, room are clean and tidy, and of course the staff are still super friendly.. It was great to back again for a couple of nights.. I hope that I will return again soon, hopefully not 4 years later.

The Crown Plaza is an excellent choice if you want to stay in downtown Chongqing. All the staff were exceedingly welcoming at check-in and throughout our stay, led by the extremely personable General Manager Sharon. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had great views of the river. Excellent swimming pool, breakfast had plenty of choice (don't forget to have a delicious bowl of brekky noodles - xiao mian) and evening drinks/snacks for IHG Members were a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Had a bad start to my trip to Chongqing coz the hotel i first booked cancelled my reservation. But I ended up at the Crowne Plaza and what a blessing in disguise! The Front Office staff really took good care of me. Even surprised me with birthday greetings and cake! Location is right smack in the city center and metro stations are close by. A lot of food and shopping options nearby, walking distance to Hongya Cave and JiaoChangKou Night Market. Wasn't able to explore much the hotel facilities but the breakfast buffet was delicious and had an abundance of choices. Thank you so much Chris Zhang, Leslie Lee, Parker Wang, Cici Liu, Luna and all the amazing staff of Crowne Plaza Jiefangbei! 😊🙏🏻
