World Traders Hotel

This hotel for the price is excellent. My room overlooks Jiefangbei, I'm right in the middle of the most touristy part of town, and the hotel is three minutes from Linjiangmen subway station. Also, the bed is very comfortable and the cleaning staff excellent.

First of all, the description here claims that there is a pool here. That is not true. No pool. Second, the service here is just awful. The staff treats you like you are a burden. One of my colleagues was going to be charged an incredible amount because she got some makeup on a sheet. She ended up trying to wash it herself in the sink. Ridiculous. Also, some of the rooms are awful. When I first got here I was stuck in a room on the top floor that smelled like mothballs, with a window so small I had to kneel down to see out of it. You can't make this stuff up. The only plus is the location. The hotel is central to everything. If you decide to stay here after reading my review, at least you have been warned.

Center of tourist area. We had a very large room with a living area complete with sofa set and a dining table. The room size was over 40m2. The view from the room was Pedestrian St. The downside: occasional foul smell in the bathroom and lack of security to the rooms.
