Best Western Fuzhou Fortune Hotel

This is a very good hotel with large rooms. In January 2018 we stayed 2 nights including breakfast in a non-smoking room with king bed. Front desk staff spoke limited but adequate English. Breakfast buffet had a variety of choices including omelet made to order. Restaurant menu offered expected choices and food was tasty. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very modern. WiFi worked fine. Excellent value.

There was some limitation on non smoking rooms so we could only get one non smoking room. We did have the sense that even on the non smoking floors that smoking occurred due to the smell in rooms and ashtrays in the hallways. The staff however were helpful and efficient.

No A/C they brought me a fan, cold Coffee,warm milk and under cooked meat. After a 12 day stay with no clean sheets, no floors or carpet cleaned and refrigerator turned off each day I would reccomend changes. I was charged over a $100.00 for tips and gratuities at check out still scratching my head on that.
