The hotel is connected to the shopping mall which is convenient. Health club and pool facilities are great. Swimming hats are available to buy for going to the pool. Room is spacious and clean. Staff is caring to help with getting the luggage.

Hotel was centrally located, which allowed for easy access to most places of interest. 1. Room: standard Shangri-la room, nothing outstanding 2. Gym: partnership with 24/7 fitness gym which is connected to the hotel, and only allowed access from the hotel until 11pm. Not exactly 24hours operation from a guest's perspective. 3. Pool is big 4. Situated beside a mall, convenient for quick eats. 5. Service: by far the worst hotel service I have experienced. Bellboy/trolley service was very lacking, with under allocated staff even at peak periods. Don't expect help with the unloading/loading of luggages to and from your vehicle/room. Be prepared to carry everything yourself. 6. Horizon lounge: service was extremely disappointing as well, staff were not properly trained and the floor was not sufficiently staffed as well. The staff even talked back and express displeasure when asked to wipe the tables. The service was also very slow and we had to wait for more than 20mins for mere condiments to arrive. The staff also did not bother to clear our plates. This is appalling, and not the standard I've experienced across other Shangri-La horizon lounge properties. 7. Membership benefits: staff at check in also don't honour your membership tier benefits, and when asked about it, they do not have any clear explanation nor answers. On the flip side, what I appreciated was the GM coming to the lounge to greet guests. Sincerely hope that there will be improvements moving forward.

The first time I stayed at Shangri-La in Fuzhou, as always, I experienced the hotel's warm service, clean and tidy environment, convenient transportation location, which saved me valuable time.
