Checked into a smelly, dark room late in the evening. Tried to get a bottle of mineral water from the front desk (there's none in the room) they insisted on delivering it to my room. After 20 minutes, checked, they'd delivered it to my colleagues room. Charged 3 rmb for a 1.5 rmb bottle of water, sent me 2 bottles and charged me for them although I only asked for 1.
The room was dim, dirty, and smelly. Bed was hard. Only had the quilt although the room was warm. Thin pillows. Checked out to find a better hotel. The staff at the desk and elsewhere were incredibly dense, pretended to not understand my Chinese
