Longdu Hotel Xiamen

1. Just 2 minutes walk to Xiahe road (plenty of transport and variety of shops.,1 minute walk to Walmart and 5 minutes walk to Zhongminbaihui (undergound dept. store and supermarket) just above long distance bus station and restos. And nearby train station. 2 Breakfast? Try somewhere else. 3. Air-cond Very Good. 4. Cleanliness-Not Good. Check dust and leftover food under the bed 5. Quiet no street noise.

We stayed at Longdu for 3 nights in a triple room is quite spacious. Believe it can accommodate 4 more on mats :) Had the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Mattresses are tolerable. Hair blower is provided and is functioning, yipee... We only paid 2.2Php (round 50 USD)/ pax so it wasnt really a drain on the pockets (more shopping and sightseeing money). Few steps to a mini-mall, name I forgot, the bus station and electronic shops. Not so nice from our room's viewpoint, overlooking old rows of apartments. An mtr is being constructed across the street where the hotel is. Drainage is on the works some steps away from the hotels entrance so the overall smell is disgusting. good enough doesnt reach our room. Receptionists do not speak fluent english ergo, hand gestures are a must. Lastly, buffet breakfast is served which most of us didnt find as a treat. Food is gone in half a second once the waitress lays them on the buffet table. Its purely Chinese cuisine.
