Royal Coast Hotel Xiamen

Absolutely loved it! The hotel is clean and perfect place for a 12 hour transit free hotel provided by Xiamen Airlines to freshen up and rest. There's a massage chair in our room and tea set ready to entertain guests. My son and I walked to all the shops as it is very conveniently located. Banks are nearby and everyone I've met here in Xiamen are friendly. I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel again.

I am only compelled to make this review because I selected this hotel on price and because the previous reviewer vouched for internet service. I needed a hotel for one night and I needed to get some work done when I got in. The internet was free however it hiccupped and had variable throttling making my work disruptive. I eventually unplugged and used my cellular modem. So I need to counter the previous raters review. The hotel probably struggles to qualify for its 4 star rating, room was clean , service fine, breakfast adequate – but everything was dated, so good try.
