Goodview Hotel Sangem

They provided a coupon for 100 yuan discount. Then after the massage, they claim it's just 15% discount. I had half hour argument with the interpreter coming from reception. Very poor experience. At the check-out my wife paid other 30 yuan, so I had a second argument with my wife because she shouldn't have paid. Very poor experience. Stay away from massage spa.

It was my 3rd time in the Hotel and it was again amazing. The direct access from the room in the pool is really unique and gives you the private atmosphere you want. The food was delicious, even western people will find something. I prefered the delicious home made noodle soup. I will come back!

The Goodview (BanShan) Hotel in Tangxia has managed to stay on top despite being around for many years. Unlike so many local hotels in China that are good when new and quickly go downhill, the Goodview has invested in significant improvements over the years and hasn't become a tired old destination. Besides their physical improvements, which are numerous, the Goodview's staff continues to delight. Just this morning, at breakfast, I seated myself against the window and the heat was cooking me slowly through the glass. I moved my seat and casually mentioned to one of the waitstaff that I was hot. Within seconds, she brought me over a glass of ice water without my asking, and shortly afterwards she wheeled over a portable air conditioner (!) and hooked it up next to my table to blow on me. To me, that's way above the call of duty, shows remarkable customer service and speaks volumes about the Goodview's staff training. So a huge thank you to Yang XiuPing (the waitress) for making me comfortable, and kudos to the Goodview Hotel, who remains solidly at the top of their game.
