Haiyatt Garden Hotel Dongguan

The Haiyatt has been one of the anchor hotels in Hou Jie for years. While not as well known as the Sheraton or the HJ International, it has all the benefits with a more attentive staff, many of whom speak English, and the amenities a business traveler demands. Ask for one of the rooms in tower 2, floors 7-9 are executive floor rooms, and are a bit more secluded and much more quiet. Usually frequented by the foreign travelers, while the local Chinese tend to not spend the extra twenty dollars to upgrade. The back tower has two elevators for easy access to the parking, restaurants or nightclub. The rooms need some upgrading, no doubt, but the beds are comfortable, the showers are strong, and the staff is eager to help. If you are a repeat guest, expect to be greeted by name. Breakfast is excellent and lasts until 9:30 or 10:00. The second floor Chinese restaurant is excellent, and the third floor Japanese restaurant is incredible. The hot stone beef dinner is a must-do. Kevin the restaurant manager is first class, and will help however needed. I keep coming back, year after year, and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a functional, pleasant stay. From a travel and access perspective, it is better than the other hotels, as the access from Hou Jie boulevard makes it much simpler to arrive and leave than its competitors.

Have stayed here for my business trip in Dongguan. Its perfect as its nearby to the main locations where I need to go. The rooms are clean and of very high standard. The breakfast has loads of variety. Truly a perfect choice if you are coming for business or even for leisure. Will always stay here when I come to Dongguan next.

Recently, I stayed 2 nights at 9th floor of this hotel. Hotel is located in the best pint for business travelers. It has walking distance to shopping centers, theater, public library and kids center.The room was spacious with a very big and clean bathroom. Fruit was provided daily. Staff was polite and helpful. My lap top had problem to connect internet, they did their best to solve the problem quickly. Checking in and checking out last just one minute. I recommend this hotel to every one
