Holiday Inn Dongguan

It is just an average hotel. I cannot see what it has to be part of an international hotel group. It is more like a domestic hotel. 01) No smile on the face of front desk staff after more than 30 stays 02) No welcome drink coupon and fruits 2 out of 3 times 03) No executive lounge which is really a very big disappointment I choose this hotel because it is very close to my subcontractor. 我选择这间酒店最主要的原因是距离供应商比较近，而且可以避开市区的交通拥堵。但对酒店的整体印象并不好： 01）虽然已经住过超过30次，但前台的员工见到我依然面无表情； 02）作为白金会员应该享受的欢迎饮品和水果盘，3次入住两次都没有；有时候要问才有； 03）没有行政酒廊，这个确实很令人失望；搞不懂，为什么雅高没有一个统一的标准？不同城市的不同标准拉低整个酒店集团的水准

A local supplier made this reservation for me, and although appreciated the hotel room itself was "nonsmoking" it smelled smokey and musty. So many Chinese local hotels simply cannot get the smile smell out. I kept my cloths in my suitcase in the hopes of keeping them clean. The staff was pleasant. I only dined at the morning buffet and that was ok. Will not come back.

Breakfast restaurant staff are not trained properly, for example are you not supposed to inform me before you turn off the lights when i am still having my breakie? When i asked for a tea and you said ok are you not supposed to bring me the tea before doing the next job? after half an hour when i realised i had no tea, i was told by another staff that the chap who was serving me had gone to his another job! The carpet in my room is extremely dirty. Bathrobes and towels are made of chemical/ plastic materials instead pure cotton. The cards to the lifts are not working half of the time when we were there All this is not good but i can put up with it. What is unbearable is that they have such poor insulation that you can hear everything happening down in the street. If you think that you want to treat yourself well with a premium suite (our room was the second best), think again. All suite rooms are on the busy main roads. It's so noisy that drove me completely mad. You might as well take a cheaper room. They are on the quiet side.
