H.J. Grand Hotel

Being close to Guangdong Baiyun Airport, this hotel is mainly used by airline crew and transit passengers. We had an early flight the next day and hence were booked into this hotel for one night. Our room was rather dark and we had to switch on all the lights. The wifi was not working properly and the TV signal was weak. To their credit, when we called housekeeping, the technicians came quickly and resolved the problems. The dining area for breakfast was in the bar/lounge. Food was average.

Stayed here as a part of my transit through China Southern Airlines... The rooms are decent and have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Room was relatively clean.. No ambience observed. Breakfast was average  .. Lots of restaurants are in the back lane of hotel and some  convenience store too & nothing else nearby.

Decent hotel with basic amenities. Like embassy suites the rooms open in to a large hall used for gatherings and events. The hotel can be quite noisy if there are events going on. The rooms are decent and have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds are very firm and can take some getting used to. The hotel has a musty smell in the corridors and they allow smoking inside the hotel. If you are sensitive to this you may want to consider before booking.
