Majestic

Hotel is in a mixed-use building with retails, residences and offices, so only 2 of the 5 elevators serve the upper hotel levels. Being connected at ground and basement levels with a shopping mall, supermarket and the MRT station, the location doesn't get anymore convenient. There are so many good restaurants and food courts within 5 mins of walk, you never need to venture far. The room is spacious, bathroom is decent but it has seen better days. The beds are a bit too firm for American preference. The complimentary breakfast buffet in the restaurant located on the top floor is excellent.

Worth a stay here. Staff are friendly, good location for business purposes and bed is super comfy which is essentially the main things you need a hotel for. Breakfast got a bit boring after 3 days with a few eastern dishes, fresh fruit and coffee. But it does the job. The gym is only open from 8am until 9.30pm which was no good to me to fit around my work schedule which was disappointing. The rooms have a decent view of the city, spacious, good shower and clean if very dated. My biggest disappointment was that the rooms smell of cigarette smoke, despite being non smoking rooms which lingers on the furniture and towels. The carpets are also stained. With a little improvement this would be an attractive hotel. Great Wi-fi access.

1) Reception Know English. Humble. Good Behavior. Welcoming. 2) Food/Breakfast. Worth it. Totally satisfied. Restaurant is on 36th floor. You can seat outside on gallery and have your breakfast with a wide view of Guangzhou City. 3) Location. BRT stop is near. MTR station is near. Shopping malls and restaurants are near by, just walking distance. Guagnzhou Airport 30mins by Taxi. 4) Rooms Comfortable. Clean and well managed. Try to get the room in between 30th floor to 34th floor. You will enjoy the view from the window. Who are on business trip can easily work from hotel. 5) Wifi- everywhere and fast. I would recommend this hotel for people who are on business trip and for families.
