Stayed at Oakwood Premier Guangzhou from 31 May to 4 June 2026 in Room 2008. The biggest strength of this property is undoubtedly its location. Situated in the heart of Tianhe, it is within easy walking distance of TeeMall, Grandview Mall, Parc Central and Taikoo Hui, making it an excellent base for shopping, dining and exploring Guangzhou. Room 2008 was spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Despite being in a busy district, the room was quiet and provided a relaxing environment after a full day out. What impressed us most was the service. As visitors from Singapore who are not native Mandarin speakers, we found the staff warm, patient and always willing to help. The concierge team was knowledgeable and helpful whenever we needed directions or assistance. The bell team was welcoming and attentive, especially when helping with luggage and parcel deliveries. Housekeeping maintained the room to a consistently high standard throughout our stay. One feature that deserves special mention is how efficiently the hotel handles deliveries. We had several purchases delivered during our stay. The hotel accepted the parcels on our behalf and arranged for them to be sent directly to our room, which was incredibly convenient and greatly appreciated. While the property may not be the newest hotel in Guangzhou, it is very well maintained and excels in the areas that matter most: location, comfort and service. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily choose Oakwood Premier Guangzhou again on a future visit.

We booked the hotel as it was close to the river and in a beautiful area of Guangzhou. We were not disappointed. Huge apartment with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed and crisp white linen. Great shower. The breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and attentive. The night view towards the river is spectacular. Love it here and will come back again. Also, with nearly all vehicles being electric, we noticed while sipping on an Aperol spritz, in the bar on the street under the hotel how quiet it was. A result of so many electric vehicles the air quality is excellent. China is so so green.

3 night stay for 3 adults in 2-bedroom unit Upside: (1) Location: Very convenient with many food outlets around. We did not have breakfast included, so every morning we ordered coffee from Luckin Coffee just across the street. Walking distance to Grandview and Parc Central malls, and Tiyu West Road metro station. (2) Comfortable: Spacious, clean and well-maintained apartment. 2 en-suite bathrooms. Housekeeping was efficient; completed by mid-afternoon each day. Street noise was not an issue. (3) Adequate gym, with treadmills, ellipticals, and some machines and free weights. Pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. Downside: (1) Slightly dated decor: Furniture style and dark wood color scheme are reminiscent of the early 2000s.
