Peach Blossom River

We really liked the location of the hotel It is a very short walk to the train. Canton Fair is two quick stops down the line and the trains run frequently. Although there isn't much around the hotel, two stops the other way on the train and you are at a mall. It has a bunch of average mall food. Just down the street is a big restaurant area with more upscale and tasty places to eat. The hotel rooms are by no means spotless, but the bedding and towels were nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite not speaking English. We will definitely stay here again if we go to Canton Fair.

This year I took a chance and decided to shy away from the western four and five star hotels that can get pricey even in China. The hotel is very close to the metro with in its self is an amazing piece of infrastructure. Buy a pass and you are to and from the trade shows or off into town for an evening. The tradition breakfast will take you out of your comfort zone but that's part of the adventure.The front desk does not always have an English speaking person but your get the message accross

Location between police station and some residential area. Old furnishing, old room design, old aircon - very dirty, looks like have not cleaned the whole unit for a long time and it takes a long time to cool. Small room and bath. Worst of all the hotels I have stayed in China. Breakfast was terrible, oily food, few choices, starts only at 7.30am (how could this be a business hotel). Overpriced. Staff tries hard, but sorry.....
