Stayed at this hotel (also known as lifu hotel or life hotel) for 3 nights.. very convenient location for canton fair visit.. the staff at the reception was very helpful and they always had one english speaking person to ease the communication.. rooms were very spacious although the bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was horizontally conjoined.. the restaurant Dates at the lobby level is 24/7 and is very co-operative.. the pizza they made was amazing.. overall a very good stay !

All good with a great receptionist who could speak English and was very helpful. My only issue was a problematic toilet which they sorted out the first day but which gave issues again. All in all - very good for what I needed.

The hotel was classed as 4 star - hmm. I booked this hotel through the Canton Fair website, which classed it as 4 star. Breakfast was included and there was a shuttle bus to and from the fair - huge bonus. Bed was firm but comfortable, but there was no fridge in the room! Non-smoking room, non-smoking floor, but there was the smell of smoke throughout, and lots of cigarette burn marks on the carpet. Had to keep the air conditioning on all the time, to get rid of the dank smell. There was work going on on the outside of the building so from 7 am onwards to 6 pm there was perpetual jackhammering going on. There were no smoking signs in the elevator, but no one seemed to take any notice, and still smoked. A positive was that there was always an English speaking person on reception to assist you with enquiries.
