The Bauhinia Hotel

Stay for 2 nights in room no 720. Nice room, complete with toiletries, towel, hair dryer, mineral water, safe deposit box, and tv. It has double layer window, so could not hear any sound from the outside. It was located just 5 min walk to one link plaza, and 15 min walk to beijing road, and 20 min walk to the MTR Haizhu station. All complete for me. The minus was just only the un-friendly young front office guy, the guy with glass. No respect, no smile, and maybe he has no explanation if I'm not asking. So passive.

Aside from the favourable location, I can't this of anything good about this hotel. If you're visiting Guangzhou for shopping, this hotel is very close to a mall. Within 5-8min walk to underground station. Lots of eateries within 5-10min walk. Rooms are not the cleanest. Ours is with window which I think it's a good choice. However the room smelled slightly funny. Carpets need to be vacumn thoroughly and the shower needs a good scrub. Receptionist there are not the friendliest bunch. Would I stay again? I'm not sure.

It is at walk able distance from Haizhu Square MTR station. I took a non window room which was decent enough, bed was comfortable, room was clean. I stayed here for 3 nights, completely suitable for business trips.
