V8 Ziyuangang Hotel

I have been here thinking of it is closer to the business area, but it is bit far and up on the slope hilly kind of which made me very tired in just 2 days but the experience in this hotel is very good and the rooms are also very good clean and neat. if you do not want to travel for the business purpose then this is a very good hotel to stay. just asked for the room opposite to railway station view so that at night it will be more comfortable for you. reception desk cannot speak English but they have translator in their phone and they are very good and respectful. Overall it was good

If you are travelling alone, I won't recommend you to stay at this hotel as it is quite a distance from the subway/ train station. It's a 15 min walk through some dark roads at night. Although I think it's quite safe, it would be a bit scary for a lone traveler. The room is very basic but quite clean. However, the place doesn;t really feel like a hotel as it's in the same building as a wholesale leather market and the people from the market will be using the same lift as the hostel. So, at many times, you will have to cramp into a lift with let's say a trolley carrying a few huge boxes of leather goods. In a way, it's quite dirty outside of your room. If you don't plan to stay in your room much and are looking for an affordable place just to bunk in at night, this is the place for you.

It's clean, spacious, and conveniently located (a 10-15 min walk to the subway and railway station). We had 5 people in our group so we got one double and one triple room. The double room also had a fridge. We stayed for 5 nights and one morning, we had breakfast in the nook downstairs. For 10 RMB a person, it included congee, fruit, buns, chinese donut, and hard boiled eggs. One thing I didn't like was their toilet paper - the rolls were incredibly small and the paper disintegrated very easily. One member of our group had a 1 hour massage in their spa for 38 RMB and said it wasn't too bad, but not quite like the massages offered in North America.
