Zhuhai Special Economic Zone Hotel

This hotel was a very good option in Guangzhou. The rooms (even the cheapest ones) were excellent, the reception service very efficient, only the breakfast could be better, but for the price (free) it's not worth complaining about it. As for the location, it was fine for us as the hotel is just minutes away from Ximenkou metro station (line 1) and from there it's easy to get anywhere in Guangzhou. I strongly recommend this hotel for a budget stay in Guangzhou.

The room is very spacious with 2 queen size bed and lots of space for our luggage. The room are kept clean and tidy. The housekeepers are really diligent in keeping the place clean. I always see them around. Basic facilities like hair dryer, water heater, tv streaming box (access to practically all channels available) and mini fridge. They have a dim sum restaurant at level 2, the dim sum served is pretty good but beware smoking is allowed. So it gets kinda smoky after a while. Only eat there if u can stand it. They give pretty good discount to hotel guests which is a plus. We tried their dim Sum once and love it but the smoky experience just deter us from going again. Walking distance to shopping street and nearby temple place.

Hotel facade looks very old and the interior isn't very new either. Good for those who value the location and is budget restricted. Located near to subway (line 1 Ximenkou 西门口 exit B-recommended) and supermarket (exit A) which is very rare in that area-I will give a plus point for that.
