Cargo Hostel

My friends and I have just returned from our holiday in Cargo Hotel in Shenzhen. I would agree that it is truly a unique hotel for travellers looking for a place to relax. Situated in the middle of a hill, It has a wonderful scenic view of the Knight valley theme park. If you are plannning to spend your day at the theme park, it would be within walking distance from the hotel to the theme park. Although there is only a limited number of staff working at the hotel, you will not feel that there is a big difference between a four star hotel and this hotel in their serivces provided. Their staff (kelvin) was superb. Since it is our first time visiting the city, he introduced us to various places of interest, transportation to various locations, various delicacies that we MUST try and souvenirs that we may like to purchase The down side of the hotel is that it is quite inaccessible to other tourist attractions ( e.g windows of the world) and even shopping district (e.g. East Gate Street). There is a limited number of buses in the vincinity of the hotel. Therefore, we spent quite a long time on transport. Another point is that the hotel is located on top of a very steep slope, therefore, it is better to wait for the bus provided by hotel at the bus stop opposite DAMEISHA hospital. The bus only comes every half an hour, so if you want to climb up the steep slope, you may even see the bus zoom past you along the way up.
