Century Kingdom Hotel

Hotel is grand and has decent sized rooms. We got our room on a higher floor which gave us an amazing view. The continental buffet has a good spread. Toiletries lacked the shaving kit. I did not carry one, assuming all hotel do provide that as a basic thing. The hotel charges 5 Yen for this if you wish to buy. Facilities are good, Lifts are fast.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in June 2019. Location - Pretty good location with train station within 5 min of walking. There are eateries near to the hotel, including McDonalds. There are also convenience stores around the hotel for snacks and necessities. Ambience - good smelling lobby and looked rather modern. Room - Typical chinese style room. Hard bed. Bathroom extremely small. Drainage was poor, hence prone to flooding. Bathroom was totally wet after a shower. Breakfast - Nothing much to rave about. Pastries looked good but tasted stale. Dough fritters were freshly made though, but only at a pace comfortable to the chef (he fries it very very slowly...). Spa - Dismal service. So much so I gave it a miss. At the first instance, was told no therapist was available and asked to come back 30 mins later. Alas, turned up at the scheduled time 30 min later and then was told no rooms are available, told to come back 1 hour later. I told them they are totally not committed to honouring appointment time. The staff got agitated, pressed the lift and sent me away! I sought out an alternative spa opposite the hotel instead. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for its location and amenities surrounding the hotel.

we stayed at this hotel for the first time. The staff were great and spoke english. The food was lovelyas well The room was amazing , very large and roomy especially compared with HK rooms Could not fault this hotel 3 TVs , 2 rooms,bath and shower Recommend
