I was 2 floor from the top of this huge hotel. Beds are as hard as bricks and its as basic as you can get. For some reason the chambermaids leave the window open and considering it was cold at night this was silly. Breakfast was on the top floor and was totally revolved around a Chinese diet. Basic noodles and water to drink, no frills but neither was the price at £25 per night so I cant complain. I was checked in for 2 nights for the Asia golf show which is 20 mins walk to the convention center. If I had to come back I would book into the Sheraton, a lot more expensive but you will not sleep on a bed of rock.

This hotel is located just 2 minutes from the Gangxia Station. If you are coming to Shenzhen and need to find a hotel close to the exhibition centre this would be perfect. The same line (Luohu - Green) runs direct to the Shenzhen Airport. Do not catch a taxi to/from the airport during peak hour traffic!!! You will be stuck for hours. Catching a cab (11:30pm) from the international airport to the hotel cost 109¥ for 45/50minute drive. This price also includes the tolls to use the highway. A train cost about 10¥ but note the final service. This hotel shares a lobby with two other business and one other hotel. The picture of signage on Tripadvisor is incorrect... You will see a small sign located to the left of the lobby windows. The reception staff did not speak english. I just showed them my booking printout and I didnt need to say anything. If the reception staff did not show me to my room I would have been lost for sure. If you need Wifi they will supply you with a unit that plug into a phone line in the room. I stayed on level 29 - great views! In my room there was paint coming off the walls and the AC vent looked like there was a moisture problem at some point - It did not leak at all when I was there. Even though there was indications of moisture issues the room did not smell funny at all. The bed was quite firm, the carpet looks like it needs a good clean but the room was serviced daily. This hotel does not have room service! The reading on the AC unit stayed at 18deg and did not get colder, but this did not feel like an accurate reading. Although it was enough to take the edge off the heat from outside. I stayed at this hotel for 15 days. It was not the best...but it was not bad! I was warned by friends that the quality of hotels in Shenzhen were not that great so I wasn't expecting much. For the price of a central hotel I cant complain. I would stay here again or try the other hotel located in the same building.

Stayed there one night with my husband as a stop between Shanghai to Hong Kong. I came with low expectations so what we got for the room's price (delux queen room) wasn't bad at all. The first impression you get as you approach the reception desk, is not good. It feels almost temporary (not as the pictures here show) and a strong smell of feet coming from behind the counter. The noise from the building itself is terrible, made by renovations so it got me very worried. The receptionists are very nice and after completing check in we were escorted to our room. The back elevators room was much more quite, and this is where i realized that this building is shared with at least 2 other hotels, clinics and business offices. The room was very clean (in China terms) and the bed was comfy. However, the smell from the toilets was strong as we got in the room, but after we shut the bathroom's door and covered the draine with a towel it was ok. Funny i know, but if we'd change the room it would have been the same. That's China. So, the area was super noisy BUT the location is great. Just a few meters from the nearest metro station and many buses to go around. All in all, not too bad for a one night stay.
