Fulai Garden Hotel

There is absolutely no reason to stay at this hotel. There are other hotels in the same price range and located in the same area literally just 2 or 3 minutes away by car. Those hotels are probably better. If you are willing to drive 5 minutes, instead of just 2 or 3 minutes, then there are plenty of better options like the Vienna International Hotel. The only reason for a 2 star instead of a 1 star review is because the room was big and the bed was comfortable. However, it looks like the hotel management has not invested anything in maintenance for many years. Everything in the bathroom was almost falling apart which is a shame because the bathroom is huge with a free standing tub and a separate shower. There was mold all over the bathroom. There were holes in the wall of the room. The paint was peeling off the walls in many places. The staff were not helpful at all. When I checked out I asked them to order a taxi for me and they were not willing to do it. This was not a language barrier problem because Google translate worked just fine. Every other hotel that I've stayed at in China, even small ones, never had any problem ordering a taxi. But the staff on duty were just not willing to do it. I had to call the company that I was visiting and they sent someone to pick me.

I stay this is hotel for 1 day. The hotel is good. Rooms are comfortable. But many things need to be improved. Hotel have only Chinese restaurant, which is not good for overseas guests. Also hotel have K-TV and they are more on that rather than maintenance. Rooms are big but old fashioned. But for 270 RMB for night it is good. The hotel is near main road and road noice is alot which is a big problem for night. They should work on voice proofing.

Friendly staff but limited English. No room service but Chinese restaurant downstairs is not bad. Aircon in the room is weak, there's no English tv channel, strong water pressure in the shower but water pooled quickly and drained slowly. No face towel, no iron and board, fridge not working but have free wifi. Front desk staff yelling at colleague, not professional look.
