Junyi Hotel

A beautiful hotel. I only stay in it. Clean rooms and fresh linens. Toothbrushes, razors and other supplies are always there. The towel is changed every day, can be changed more frequently on request. Delicious breakfasts. I'll come to them again.

This is a solid four-star hotel in Shenzhen's remote Longgang district. It is a grand building with pleasant interior and spacious and newly renovated room. Breakfast is fine with plenty of options. Price is very modest. It is a forty minute taxi ride from Luohu.

I stayed at a Chinese hotel on my first business trip to China. The room is old and there are stains on the carpet and walls, but I think that's what it is. If anything, I was concerned about the bathroom. The bathroom smells dirty when you open the toilet, and the smell of cigarettes comes back up from the ventilation fan. The water pressure in the shower is okay, but the water flow is poor and the floor gets wet when you use it. Breakfast had a lot of variety, but the sweet soy milk and other items were generally not good. Also, there is only one Japanese restaurant in the area, but there is still a 7-Eleven, Pizza Hut, and KFC, which is a relief.
