Landmark International Hotel Nanwan

Stayed there on the 5th of July, 2017. There were many shops just outside of the hotel. Very good for shopping. The staff there are very friendly and kind. There's even a massage chair in the room, though you would have to purchase a time card from the front desk to use it.

All-in-all, it is a pretty decent place for a short stay. The surround is basically a place full of shops and can be a district where the locals will come. At night it comes alive with more neon lights and more shops opening including makeshift stalls. If you like Chinese smartphones, this area is dotted with shops selling all manner of Chinese Android smartphones. A little further but within walking distance is the huge Huafa Mall. When I say huge it is huge. The hotel itself is OK for sleep but breakfast is pretty miserable. You get better food if you go out. There is a KFC that opens 24/7 at the 2nd floor. It is good for a short stay but I doubt you want to stay longer than a week.

Everything in the hotel is 4-star hotel standard. The receptionist lady was particularly helpful that night when I checked in (July 10th, 2016), I don't remember her name though, so I hope the management who read this would acknowledge her. Thank you. There is a shopping street outside the hotel too, just like Khaosan Rd in Bangkok. Quite fun!
